My Work
The blood sweat and tears that I dedicated to my ceramic works are beyond measure, I had lots of fun in this subject it also piqued my interest in making ceramics. I have also come across lots of nice people, without their help and guidance, I would not be able to finish these works as a beginner.

01
Reinventing Acient ware
I have recreated the ancient ware of Korean maebyeong vase style with hand build method. With the decarative metod of Inlay. I have craved <The Heart Of Prajna Pramita Sutra>.
02
Slap mold
As I would not like to be bored molding a bowl or plate, I would like to find something that is close to our daily life which is leaves, I have molded the shape and the venation of each unique leave. I have molded different species of leaves. I mold them to make the shape of a boat and for each boat, I have added a little decorative feature to make each unique. One boat is in the theme of marine, while one is in the theme of woods.

03
Figurative Sculpture making
I am a cat lover, among all species of cat I find that Sphynx is very unique as they don have any hair and their look creates a mysterious atmosphere, on the other hand, their aerodynamic body shape creates an elegant look. I found that ceramics is a very good way to present the folding of Sphynx cat skin and their body shape.
04
Throwing Functional Wares
I create a set of tea ware with reference to Japanese style tea set. The theme of my tea set is sakura season, I have chosen the pink dip on glaze to mimic the sakura blooming, I try to make the blossom abstract with the use of light and dark colors of the glaze.

Final Work
Sugar Coating
I would like to talk about the struggle for growth. With the appetizing and tempting look of the candy house, I would like to symbolize the positive and attractive benefits of being an adult. However, the interior of the candy house is dilapidated and damaged, which symbolized the responsibilities and the mental struggle and difficulties faced by adults. I also used the contrast between the warm and cool color tones between the house and the bottom frame. The bottom mire-like supporting frame symbolizes the growth pathway. The biscuit is the pathway toward growth the road is fragile as a biscuit that we need to walk extra carefully. The candy and dessert symbolized the happy and treasurable moment of growing up. However, the candy is colorless, which symbolizes that as we grow those memorable and important memories started to fade out and be forgotten. The cream on the mire, however, is dark and mirror-like shiny, the cream symbolized the pain and scars that are left behind, those sad and bad memories yet, are hard to be forgotten. Even as time passes, wound heals, but sometimes you still feel the lingering pain of the scars.
